Our History
The PSL Soccer Club has been serving the youth of our community for 44 years and counting. The Club started back in 1978 playing soccer on the fields at Sportsman Park. The Club started growing and ulimately moved to Swan Park in 1982 where it still resides today. The Hurricanes have gone through some changes over the years, changing logo's, uniforms and names over that time. The PSL Soccer Club adopted the names - Predators, Zebras, Hurricanes, Juventus of PSL, West Ham United and back to the Hurricanes. In 1990 some coaches left the PSL Soccer Club to form the Mako Soccer Club, the Hurricanes kept to their roots and continued offering programs for players of all skill levels.
Today, the PSL Soccer Club is the largest soccer club on the Treasure Coast and third largest in South Florida offering 1600 players each year award winning programs. The PSL Soccer Club continues to grow, faster than fields will allow. Part of our growth is attributed to our award winning programs in Recreation and Competitive levels of play. People that come to our club feel a sense of family, we all strive to offer programs for the kids and share a common goal. Many of our coaches and board members are volunteers, offering hundreds of hours each year of their time to make our community and youth sports better for the kids. The PSL Soccer Club thrives on giving the players a safe and educational environment to play in, while becoming innovative in developing programs designed towards player and coach development. Once you participate in one of our programs, you will see the time and dedication given to the kids and club. "Once a Hurricane - Always a Hurricane"
